Who we are
Kenny McGuffie
Director / Principal Consultant
Kenny McGuffie has over 15 years practical experience within the systems and software engineering disciplines. He completed his BSc (Hons) degree at the University of Central Lancashire in the UK in 2001.
He has worked as a systems engineer, requirements manager, requirements engineer, software engineer and as a tool specialist across the aerospace, defence, rail and government sectors.
His main area of interest is in the implementation of Requirements Development & Management and V&V processes on complex projects using tools such as IBM Rational DOORS and IBM Rational DOORS Next Generation.
Paul Williams
Systems Engineering Consultant
Paul Williams has over 35 years experience in systems and software engineering gained across the aviation, rail and government sectors. He is a chartered professional engineer and acknowledged for his strong engineering governance focus on large projects.
He brings a host of system engineering skills and competencies to projects including:
- Technical planning
- Requirements specification
- Configuration management
- Risk analysis
- Technical assessment and control
- Acceptance test planning
- Commissioning and transition to operations
Specialties:
- Application of system engineering standards – ISO/IEC 15288
- Requirements traceability and management using DOORS
